DailyCoinRecap is operated by MONITIVE COM SRL, Str. Armoniei 23A, Sc. 3, Ap. 5, Timișoara, 300291, Romania (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

• •Email subscription — your email address, so we can deliver the daily recap you signed up for.
• •Account sign-in — when you sign in with Google, Apple, or X, we receive the name and email address the provider shares with us.
• •Usage analytics — product and website analytics, collected only after you consent via the cookie banner.
• •Payment data — subscription payments are handled entirely by our merchant of record, PayPro Global; we do not receive or store your card details.
• •Error and diagnostic data — technical information captured automatically when something goes wrong, so we can fix it.

If you are an individual in the European Economic Area (EEA), we collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so under applicable EU laws. The legal bases depend on the Services you use and how you use them. This means we collect and use your information only where:

• •We need it to provide you the Services, including to operate the Services, provide customer support, and protect the safety and security of the Services;
• •It satisfies a legitimate interest (which is not overridden by your data protection interests), such as for research and development and to protect our legal rights and interests;

We share limited data with the following third parties. Some act as processors or service providers on our instructions; others — the OAuth sign-in providers and our payment merchant of record — act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

• •SendGrid (Twilio) — processor. Email delivery. Receives your email address and delivery/engagement events (opens, clicks).
• •OpenAI — processor. Used to generate the content of the daily recap. Receives market and news content and coin symbols; it does not receive subscriber identity data such as your name or email address.
• •PostHog (EU Cloud) — processor. Product analytics, only after you consent via the cookie banner. Hosted in the EU.
• •Sentry — processor. Error and crash monitoring.
• •Umami Cloud — processor. Cookieless web analytics on the landing site.
• •Google, Apple, and X — independent controllers. Used for account sign-in; they share your name and email address with us under their own privacy policies.
• •PayPro Global — merchant of record, independent controller. Handles billing and payment data for subscriptions.

• •PostHog analytics events — retained for 12 months.
• •PostHog person profiles — retained for 24 months.
• •Email delivery and engagement records (email_events) — retained for 24 months.
• •Records of recaps sent (recap_sends) — retained indefinitely as our service-of-record.
• •User activity events (user_activity_events) — retained for 24 months.

When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner lets you choose which categories of cookies to allow. Essential cookies are always on; analytics cookies only load and fire after you opt in. You can review or change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.

If you wish to access, correct, amend, or delete any personal information that we hold about you, we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws.
